Purpose: Underlines text. Deprecated in HTML 4.
Start Tag/End Tag: Required/Required
Supported: [3, 3.2, 4, IE1, IE2, IE3, IE4, IE5, NS3, NS4]
Attributes:
* CLASS--Class of the element (used for rendering). [3, 4, IE4, IE5, NS4]
* DIR--Gives the direction of directionally neutral text (text that doesn't have inherent direction in which you should read it). Possible values: LTR: left-to-right text or table and RTL: right-to-left text or table. [4, IE5]
* ID--Unique alphanumeric identifier for the tag, which you can use to refer to it. [3, 4, IE4, IE5, NS4]
* LANG--Base language used for the tag. [3, 4, IE4, IE5]
* LANGUAGE--Scripting language used for the tag. [IE4, IE5]
* STYLE--Inline style indicating how to render the element. [4, IE3, IE4, IE5, NS4]
* TITLE--Holds additional information (as might be displayed in tool tips) for the element. [3, 4, IE4, IE5]
Purpose: Creates an unordered list. Surrounds <LI> list items.

Attributes:

* CLEAR--Used to move past aligned images or other elements. Set to NONE (the default; just a normal break), LEFT (breaks line and moves down until there is a clear left margin past the aligned element), RIGHT (breaks line and moves down until there is a clear right margin past the aligned element), or ALL (breaks line and moves down until both margins are clear of the aligned element). * COMPACT--Deprecated. Stand-alone attribute specifying that compact rendering be used. [2, 3, 3.2, 4]

* TYPE--Deprecated. Specifies the type of list item; for unordered lists set to: DISC (default solid bullet), SQUARE (solid square), or CIRCLE (hollow bullet). Purpose: Styles text as a program variable or argument; usually rendered in italics.

Purpose: Creates an XML data island and embeds an XML document in a Web page.

* CONTENTEDITABLE--Indicates if the content of the element is editable. [IE5]
* DISABLED--Indicates if the element is disabled. [IE5]
* ID--Unique alphanumeric identifier for the tag, which you can use to refer to it. [IE5]
* NS--Specifies the URL of the XML namespace that the XML content is bound to. Set to a URL. [IE5]
* PREFIX--Namespace prefix of the XML contents. Set to an alphanumeric string. [IE5]
* SRC--Specifies the source for the XML document. Set to a URL. [IE5]
