Purpose: Creates an image map specification, encloses <AREA> elements that define the shapes in the image map. Pass the name of this map to the <IMG> element's USEMAP attribute.

Attributes:
* CLASS--Class of the element (used for rendering). [4, IE4, IE5]
* DIR--Gives the direction of directionally neutral text (text that doesn't have inherent direction in which you should read it). Possible values: LTR: left-to-right text or table and RTL: right-to-left text or table. [4, IE5]
* ID--A unique alphanumeric identifier for the tag, which you can use to refer to it. [4, IE4, IE5]
* LANG--Base language used for the tag. [4, IE4, IE5]
* LANGUAGE--Scripting language used for the tag. [IE4, IE5]
* NAME--Holds the name of the map for reference by other parts of the page. [3.2, 4, IE1, IE2, IE3, IE4, IE5, NS2, NS3, NS4]
* STYLE--Inline style indicating how to render the element. [4, IE4, IE5]
* TITLE--Holds additional information (which might be displayed in tool tips) for the element. [4, IE4, IE5]
Purpose: Displays scrolling text in a "marquee" style.

Attributes:
* ALIGN--Sets the alignment of the text relative to the marquee. Set to: TOP (the default), MIDDLE, or BOTTOM. [IE2, IE3, IE4, IE5]
* BEHAVIOR--Sets how the text in the marquee should move. Can be: SCROLL (the default; text scrolls across the marquee), SLIDE (text enters from one side and stops at the other side), or ALTERNATE (text seems to bounce from one side to the other). [IE2, IE3, IE4, IE5]
* BGCOLOR--Sets the background color for the marquee box. Set to a color value or a predefined color name. [IE2, IE3, IE4, IE5]
* DIR--Gives the direction of directionally neutral text (text that doesn't have inherent direction in which you should read it). Possible values: LTR: left-to-right text or table and RTL: right-to-left text or table. [IE5]
* DIRECTION--Sets the direction the text should scroll. Can be: LEFT (the default), RIGHT, DOWN, or UP. [IE2, IE3, IE4, IE5]
* HEIGHT--Specifies the height of the marquee. The default is the height of the marquee's text. Set to a height in pixels or a percentage of the available display height. [IE2, IE3, IE4, IE5]
* HSPACE--Gives the left and right margins outside the marquee. Set to a pixel value (the default is 0). [IE2, IE3, IE4, IE5]
* LANG--Base language used for the tag. [IE4, IE5]
* LANGUAGE--Scripting language used for the tag. [IE4, IE5]
* LOOP--Sets how many times you want the marquee to cycle. Set to a positive integer or -1 for continuous cycling. [IE2, IE3, IE4, IE5]
* SCROLLAMOUNT--Sets the horizontal space between each successive display of the text. Set to pixel values. [IE2, IE3, IE4, IE5]
* SCROLLDELAY--Sets the number of milliseconds between each successive display of the text. Set to a positive integer millisecond value. [IE2, IE3, IE4, IE5]
* STYLE--Inline style indicating how to render the element. [IE3, IE4, IE5]
* TITLE--Holds additional information (which might be displayed in tool tips) for the element. [IE4, IE5]
* TRUESPEED--Specifies that exact SCROLLDELAY values should be used as given. If you don't use this attribute, values less than 59 are set to 60 milliseconds. Set to TRUE or FALSE (the default). [IE4, IE5]
* VSPACE--Sets the top and bottom spacing margins outside the marquee. Set to a positive pixel value. The default value is 0. [IE2, IE3, IE4, IE5]
* WIDTH--Sets the width of the marquee; the default value is 100 percent of the available display width. Set to positive integer pixel values or a percentage of the total display width. [IE2, IE3, IE4, IE5]
Purpose: Creates a menu list; usually rendered as an unordered list. Deprecated.

Purpose: Includes "metadata" about your Web page consisting of keywords for search engines, refresh rates for client pull, and more. Metadata is passed as name/value pairs like this: NAME="DESCRIPTION", VALUE="Western view of the Alps", or HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH" CONTENT="5".

Attributes:
* CONTENT--Required attribute giving the content of a name/value pair. The actual value you use depends if you're using the NAME or HTTP-EQUIV attribute. [2, 3, 3.2, 4, IE2, IE3, IE4, IE5, NS1, NS2, NS3, NS4]
* DIR--Gives the direction of directionally neutral text (text that doesn't have inherent direction in which you should read it). Possible values: LTR: left-to-right text or table and RTL: right-to-left text or table. [4]

* HTTP-EQUIV--Connects the CONTENT attribute to an HTTP header field. If a browser asks for the page, the value of the content attribute will be passed to the browser as part of the HTTP header. [2, 3, 3.2, 4, IE2, IE3, IE4, IE5, NS1, NS2, NS3, NS4]
* LANG--Base language used for the tag. [4, NS4]
* NAME--Connects the CONTENT attribute to a name, such as "Keywords". When a Web browser or other agent requests the data connected to the name, the value of the CONTENT attribute will be sent. [2, 3, 3.2, 4, IE2, IE3, IE4, IE5, NS1, NS2, NS3, NS4]
* SCHEME--Specifies a predetermined format to be used to interpret the CONTENT attribute value. [4]

* COLS--This required attribute indicates the number of columns you want to break the text into. Set it to a positive integer. [NS3, NS4]

* WIDTH--Supposed to be the width of each column, actually seems to be the width of all columns plus gutters. The default value is 100 percent of the display width. [NS3, NS4]
Purpose: Tells the browser not to break text into separate lines.

* CODE--Holds a URL pointing to the object's code or class. Required. [4, IE3, IE4, IE5]
* CODEBASE--Specifies where to find the code for the object. [4, IE3, IE4, IE5, NS4]
* CODETYPE--Indicates the MIME type of the code referred to by the CLASSID attribute. Set to an alphanumeric MIME type. [4, IE3, IE4, IE5]
* DATA--Specifies the URL of the object's data. If you didn't specify a value for the CLASSID attribute, the MIME type of the data sets a default value for the CLASSID attribute. [4, IE3, IE4, IE5, NS4]
* DATAFLD--Name of the column of the data source object that supplies the bound data. Set to alphanumeric characters. [IE4, IE5]
* DATASRC--Gives the URL or ID of the data source object supplying data bound to this element. W3C says this should be a URL; Internet Explorer says it should be a data source ID. [IE4, IE5]
* DECLARE--Indicates that the object should not be created or instantiated until needed (called late binding). Stand-alone attribute. [4]

* TYPE--Specifies the MIME type of the data referenced in the DATA attribute. [4, IE3, IE4, IE5, NS4]
* USEMAP--Specifies the URL; usually in the same document of a client-side image map to be used with the object. [4, IE3, IE4, IE5]
* VSPACE--Specifies the vertical spacing around objects in pixels (top and bottom padding.) Values: Positive integer pixel values. [4, IE3, IE4, IE5]
* WIDTH--Sets the width of the object in pixels. [4, IE3, IE4, IE5, NS4]
Purpose: Creates an ordered list. You use this element to surround <LI> list items.
